Jesse: Rachel, we are back here to help rebuild not just a school but, we are here to help others. By leading this club to victory, we will lead other students to follow their dreams. Wouldn't you rather go home each night and say "I just changed somebody's life by saying 2 things today?" or would you just rather go home each night and fall asleep after a show?
Rachel: -Smiles- How do you always know what to say.
Jesse: Because Rachel, I know you and I know where you are coming from. I can see the world like you because like you, I shared in the spotlight of Broadway. It doesn't matter how long, we learned from that and now, we can take our pasts, put them together and learn from both of our mistakes to make sure our future is bright. Rachel, my career is no longer just my career. It is yours too. You are the person that puts a smile on my face and gives me the passion to sing everyday.
Rachel: -Looks down and blushes-
Jesse: Rachel, I love you and that is something that goes everywhere with me. Rachel, I have learned over the past few years many things. Rachel, I am not a jealous person for a reason. I know that you are my wife and that you didn't choose me first. I know that. I may have been your second choice but you are a blessing. I know behind your brave smile, you are hurting here too because it brings back the memories, the heart ache, the pain and most of all, the love you felt for Finn. Do I put up with it? Everyday. Why? Because that is what makes you the woman I love.
Rachel: -Starts to tear up-
Jesse: I know this is a sensitive subject but you need to know the truth.
Rachel: I know, it is just hard.
Jesse: Rachel, let me remind you something. I am not someone replacing Finn, I am just another man who can fill the whole in your heart by giving my heart to you. Rachel, I am sorry I am doing it here but it just came out.
Rachel: -Sighs- No, it's fine. I would be crying like this if I were alone too because this place is special to me and Finn.
