Sebastian: -Hears her say dad and smiles- Wait, did you just call me dad?
Melissa: -Turns around and smiles at her dad- I thought it was time.
Sebastian: -Smiles as he stand sin the kitchen and then goes to look at her, bending down- Me and Mercedes had a little disagreement so, we decided it would be better to be friends first than dating.
Melissa: So, you aren't together anymore?
Sebastian: No, why?
Melissa: It's okay. I liked her but I understand. Mom had boyfriends and they came and went.
Sebastian: Wait, how soon did she have a boyfriend after she left me?
Melissa: Dad, I was 2. I don't remember.
Sebastian: Right, sorry. It is just a hard time right now sweetie.
Melissa: So, we have a competition coming up soon right?
Sebastian: How did you remember that but not my birthday?
Melissa: When was your birthday?
Sebastian: Just kidding. But it's 2 days before yours.
Melissa: Wow.
Sebastian: Talk about a good birthday gift eh?
Melissa: -Smiles at her dad-
Sebastian: -Looks at the time- We better get going okay? How about I buy you breakfast instead of making it? At the cafeteria.

Sebastian: Good, now go get in my car and then we can get going.
Melissa: -Runs out to his car smiling-
