Jesse: -Walking with Rachel towards the grocery store- Hey, I never got to ask you. You sure you are happy that Will is taking over as head of the Glee club again? I know you were liking that job.
Rachel: I like it and I am fine. I need to concentrate on 1 place right now because I can't run around all the time.
Jesse: We will be working with Santana and Brittany again.
Rachel: I know, I am going to have to shut up. Help me?
Jesse: Forever. -Walks into the grocery story with her before grabbing a basket- So, today we are having your dad for supper aren't we? Which one again?
Rachel: Hiram (Jeff Goldblum).
Jesse: Are you ready to tell him that you are pregnant?
Rachel: Yes, of course. That is why I invited him.
Jesse: Wait, you invited him? I thought he asked to visit.
Rachel: What is the difference?
Jesse: I wish I would've known so I could invite my parents too.
Rachel: You still could've.
Jesse: I thought it would be rude to have my parents there when he asked to visit. It's different in my opinion.
Rachel: I guess you are right. If I invite him then it is different than him asking to come. It changes how you have to think about what he expects. If he expected to have time alone with us, that would be why he would ask to come. But by inviting him, we are telling him that we want to see him but it might not be just him.
Jesse: Remind me to class my parents when we are home.
Rachel: You will probably remember.
Jesse: -Smiles and chuckles as he looks at his wife, not being able to stop smiling whenever he is around her even though he may look like a fool while they are shopping-
Quick Note: Since Jesse's parents' names are never mentioned in Glee so in my story, they will be Joseph "Joe" and Michelle St. James
